oolong tea
Sitting somewhere between un-oxidised green teas and fully-oxidised black teas, Oolong teas are sometimes referred to as semi-oxidised and are mainly grown in China and Taiwan. They are often the connoisseur's choice due to their lightness of touch coupled with complex flavours.
Yellow Gold Oolong
The name perfectly describes the infused tea. It provides for a moreishly sweet and honey-like tea which is difficult to fault and like all good Oolongs, is full-bodied and complex. Golden yellow sunshine in a cup.
The perfect cup:
Use one teaspoon per cup. Use freshly drawn boiled water that has been allowed to cool to 95 ºC(around 1 minute) and infuse for 2 to 3 minutes according to personal taste.
